St. Patrick Orthodox Church Choir is pleased to release its latest album of music from the Orthodox West, O Gladsome Light. It features Gregorian chant (Creator of the Stars of Night; Lo, the Blest Cross Is Displayed), Anglican Chant (Psalm 23: The Lord Is My Shepherd), and beloved traditional hymns (Praise to the Lord, the Almighty; My Song Is Love Unknown).
This album is a sampling of the music our choir offers weekly in worship to the God of God and Light of Light—the Creator of the Stars and the Light of the World.
